We are glad you took the time to explore our church and ministry. I know you its not by accident that you stumbled upon our church website. I believe its an answer to pray and part of God’s divine plan.
As you look around and find out more about us, I invite you to reach out if you have any questions about our church and what we we believe in. I have included a short introduction here in my welcome note but we’d love the opportunity to meet with you in person.
I believe that the Holy God of heaven has called us into an eternal relationship with Him - to be a people for His glory. His amazing love compels us to come together each Sunday to give him our heartfelt worship. We come together on Sunday mornings to sing, pray and study God's word to us - the Bible.
Maranatha Baptist is not merely a building though, it is a living family of people... people who live together in the love of Jesus Christ and the power of His Spirit.

Reid was born and raised in Burnaby, BC. He graduated from Simon Fraser University and then went on the study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX and at Regent College, Vancouver
Reid pastored in Pastored in Nipawin, SK; Whitehorse YT; Edmonton AB; Chilliwack BC; White Rock BC;
Reid also served for 20 years as a volunteer operational chaplain with the RCMP.
Now retired, he still teaches regularly and enjoys it.
Reith and his wife Judy live in Chilliwack and have one son and one daughter

Coming from Richmond, BC, Keith graduated from Regent College in Vancouver, with a B.A. in religion. He earned his Master of Divinity degree at Regent Theological Seminary in Vancouver BC. Before accepting the call to lead Maranatha Baptist Church, Keith served as pastor of Grace Community Church.
Keith is a member of AMBER. He plays an active role in promoting and teaching sound bible doctrine within the Baptist denomination and in the local church. As lead pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church his greatest desire is for the church to follow Jesus and love him and delight in Him as Lord and Savior.
Keith and his wife Ruth live in Abbotsford with their three sons and two daughters-in law.
